Getting to know Buzzz

What is Buzzz?+
Buzzz is the operating system for local commerce and digital storefronts. It's where a local business becomes a real storefront online — with a catalog, hours, bookings and payments — and where customers go to discover, browse, book and buy from the businesses around them. Private chat is built in for when you need it, but the reason to open Buzzz is to find and do business locally.
Who is Buzzz for?+
Two kinds of people. If you run something — a food truck, a boutique, a salon, a clinic, an online shop — Buzzz gives you a full storefront, order management and payments in minutes. If you're a customer, Buzzz is how you discover what's nearby, compare storefronts, place an order or book a service, and message a business directly. Most people are a bit of both.
How is Buzzz different from other apps I already use?+
Buzzz is built from the ground up for local commerce, not bolted onto something else. Discovery comes first: you open Buzzz to find and do business with the shops around you. Every business gets a real storefront — catalog, hours, bookings and secure payments — and private chat is woven in for when a conversation helps close the deal. It's one place to discover, shop, book, sell and chat, designed so the whole flow just works together instead of scattering it across separate tools.
Where is Buzzz available?+
Buzzz is rolling out now in early access. We're onboarding businesses and shoppers region by region so every storefront gets a solid experience from day one. If it hasn't reached your area yet, it's coming soon — grab the app to be first when it lands near you.
How much does Buzzz cost?+
It's free to download, free to browse, and free to set up your storefront — catalog, hours, bookings and all. A small fee applies when you make a sale, so you only pay when you earn. Optional subscriptions unlock more when you're ready — claim your own unique #hashtag, earn a verified badge, and run sponsored ads to reach more shoppers nearby.
What are Buzzz points?+
Buzzz points are our built-in rewards. Invite a friend with your code and you both earn points when they sign up — plus a bonus when they make their first purchase. Redeem your points for money off at checkout: open your cart, apply points, and your total drops.

Running your store

Do I still need a website if I have a Buzzz storefront?+
No. Your Buzzz storefront is a complete home for your business — your catalog, photos, hours, location, bookings, secure checkout and reviews all live in one place, and it's discoverable the moment it's live. Many sellers tell us their Buzzz storefront replaces the website they never got around to building.
What kinds of businesses can use Buzzz?+
Just about any local or online business. Food trucks, restaurants and cafés, boutiques and clothing shops, salons and spas, clinics, home bakers, artisans and online-only sellers all run well on Buzzz. Whether you sell products, take bookings, or both, you can shape your storefront to fit how you work.
How do customers find my store?+
Discovery is the heart of Buzzz. Customers find you through Pulse, which surfaces businesses nearby; through your own memorable #hashtag, which opens your storefront with a single tap and works on any flyer, reel or text; and through search, when someone looks for what you offer. The more complete your storefront, the easier you are to discover.
Can I manage staff and a kitchen?+
Yes. You can add staff members with roles and the right level of access, take dine-in orders with a built-in point of sale, and route tickets to a live kitchen board so your team can cook, track and mark orders done in real time. It's designed to keep a busy counter and kitchen in sync.
Can I set greeting and away auto-replies?+
Yes. You can set a friendly greeting for first-time messages and an away auto-reply for when you're closed or busy, so customers always get an instant, on-brand response — even outside your hours.
How do creators help my business?+
Creators feature your products in their reels and tag your store. When their followers buy through that reel, the sale is attributed to the creator and they earn a commission — so they're motivated to send you real customers. Payments & orders

Getting paid

How do payments work?+
Customers pay by card through secure in-app checkout — no cash to chase and no separate payment links to send. Card details are handled through encrypted, industry-standard payment processing, so neither you nor Buzzz ever sees raw card numbers, and the sale is confirmed the moment it goes through.
When do I get paid?+
Your earnings from paid orders are deposited to your linked bank account on a clear, regular payout schedule. You can see each order's status and your payouts right in the app, so it's always obvious what you've earned and what's on the way.
Can customers get refunds or returns?+
Yes. You set your own return and refund window, and within it you can issue a refund straight back to the customer's original payment. Both sides see the order and its status throughout, so refunds and returns stay clear and on the record.
Privacy & safety

Private and protected

Are my chats private?+
Yes. Personal chats are end-to-end encrypted, which means they're scrambled on your device and only unscrambled on the other person's — not even we can read them. Your conversations are yours alone.
Do you train AI on my data?+
No. Private chats are end-to-end encrypted, so they can't be — and never are — used to train AI. We don't sell your data, and we don't build ad-targeting profiles from it. Buzzz makes money when you buy and sell, not by mining what you say.
How do you keep buyers and sellers safe?+
A few ways working together. Verified seller badges help you know you're dealing with a real, checked business. Order protection keeps the transaction and its status on the record for both sides. And ratings and reviews build a track record over time, so trustworthy storefronts stand out.
